Ivan Massow (JakeTM.org)
Ivan Massow is a prominent British businessman and political commentator. The establishment of his Financial Advice company in 1990 first brought him to prominence, and many credit him with inventing the concept of the ‘Pink Pound’ by providing financial products to gay men in a climate of prejudice. Ivan has also been involved in British politics, as senior policy advisors for William Hague and Steve Norris’ Mayoral Campaign and a frequent media spokesman. Ivan was Chairman of the ICA, before standing down in protest at the domination of the contemporary scene by conceptual art. He is largely seen as an urban dandy, with celebrity friends, and a social visionary. His online social-networking organisation, Jake (the largest of its kind in the world), is but one example. Ivan has been involved with countless charity organisations, from Chairing MIND to being a Counsellor for the Samaritans. He is currently working on his first novel, Margaret’s Wood, a political allegory set in a woodland coppice.

A great initiative. Wish I could attend. Too bad other schools can't open their narrow mindsets to our social reality.

Best regards

The GL business forum was a great success: what’s going on with TNT, IBM, Google, MSD and their LGBT diversity groups. A lot of networking and interesting follow-up discussions.

I am looking forward to the second release of this “Instituto de Empresa” forum.

Kind regards,
